Code of Ethics

The MentorLab Code of Ethics defines the fundamental principles and best practices that govern our approach. It aims to ensure quality, respectful and benevolent support for all those involved in our interventions.

1. Respect and kindness
The mentor undertakes to respect the personality, values and choices of organizations and individuals, adopting a benevolent, non-judgmental stance.

2. Privacy
All information shared during mentoring sessions is strictly confidential and may not be divulged without the explicit agreement of the mentee.

3. Neutrality and objectivity
The mentor maintains a neutral, objective position, avoiding the imposition of his or her own opinions or solutions, while providing the critical vision needed to achieve concrete goals.

4. Developing autonomy
The aim of mentoring is to develop the mentee's autonomy by helping them find their own solutions and develop their skills.

5. Professional competence
Mentors undertake to maintain and develop their professional skills through ongoing training and regular self-questioning.

6. Limits of mentoring
The mentor recognizes the limits of his or her intervention and refers the mentee to other professionals if necessary.

7. Relational ethics
The mentoring relationship is based on mutual trust, honesty and transparency.

8. Commitment and regularity
All participants undertake to keep to agreed appointments and to maintain regular exchanges.

This charter is the frame of reference for all our mentors and mentees, guaranteeing professional and ethical support.
